The Sooner Sells Family Reunion 2026 Family Chronicles

Our family has a long and rich history of fun reunions that we're proud of and actively working to preserve and continue. Check out the details and RSVP.


Registration Fees:

Senior Registration (61+): $30

Adult Registration (13 - 60): $60

Youth Registration (3-12): $30

Children (2 and younger): Free


Basic registration covers all activities, Friday night snacks, two meals on Saturday, and a lite box lunch on Sunday. Shirts available for an additional fee.


Shirt Fees:

Unisex Youth (S-L) - $15 each

Unisex Adult (S-XL) - $15 each

Unisex Adult (2XL-4XL) - $18 each




Registration Deadline Extended

Please register, order shirts, and secure your hotel room by Friday, July 3, 2026.


This ensures the planning committee can make arrangements to accommodate all who will attend. There will be no additional extensions to this deadline, so please act accordingly.

Family members are encouraged to utilize the hotel block to continue the fun and opportunities for connection beyond the scheduled events.

Room rate: $159 per night 

Rate includes complimentary parking, same room rate for up to 3 days before or after the reunion, choice of single or double king room and complimentary wifi as well as other hotel amenities. 

Check-in is at 4pm with check-out at Noon. 


The reservation deadline is Friday, July 3, 2026. 

There is no flexibility with this deadline so please confirm your arrangements soon. Rates may change after July 3, 2026. 


The hotel is centrally located with easy access to highways, shopping, and one-of-a kind Kansas City experiences. Attendees should plan for ground transportation as the hotel is approximately 35 minutes from the airport (code: MCI) and 15 minutes from other reunion venues.

Reunion Schedule At-A-Glance

Friday, July 24

Family Meet & Greet - Legacy Kickoff: Roots & Rhythm


6:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Overland Park Marriott Hospitality Suite - 11th Floor

Whether you stop by for a quick visit or stay all evening, we’re looking forward to seeing you!

Attire: Casual Cool. Wear your favorite sports team apparel (yes—even if it’s not the Chiefs!) or a past reunion shirt.


Evening Flow:

6:00 PM – Check in, grab a snack, and pick up your reunion shirt. Enjoy connecting with family through family photos, music, and games.
9:30 PM – We’ll begin wrapping up the evening and getting ready for Saturday’s activities.


Registration:
Reunion information and shirts will be available Friday evening. Please plan to collect your shirt then to wear on Saturday. A limited pickup window will also be available on Saturday morning.

Saturday, July 25

All Saturday activities will be at the Olathe Community Center. Please plan for a 15-minute commute from the hotel.

Put on your family reunion shirt and casual attire and come out for afternoon of fun. There will be a taco bar, games, dance lessons, and plenty of time to get to know family members from other cities.

Sunday, July 26

Sunday Service and Sendoff


Arrive by 10:30AM so everyone can sit together for service

Come for church and stay after for a sack lunch send off at approximately 1PM. The church is approximately 15 minutes from the hotel.
